IBE 215: Design for Health


This new 4-day seminar explores the broad spectrum of Building Biology design principles and applications so crucial for design and building professionals to incorporate into their practices. From family residence to community design, we will explore the Building Biology science and criteria and their application to modern-day North American built environments. This seminar is also a beneficial course of study for homeowners endowed with a special interest in creating healthy environments for their family. The topics covered are: Site Selection; Community Design; Design for Climate; Building Product Evaluation; Interior Furnishings and Finishes; Renovation. Successful completion of this seminar conveys 40 CEUs (Continuing Education Units, approved by AIA, ACAC, InterNACHI.
